Position Overview

Chatter Marketing is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting, executing, and optimizing social media strategies that elevate our clients’ brands and generate measurable results. You’ll collaborate across departments to ensure our content is aligned with each client’s marketing objectives and delivered with precision. 

This is a full-time, in-office position in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation & Planning

  • Develop and manage monthly social media content calendars tailored to each client’s goals, brand voice, and campaign strategy.

  • Write compelling, on-brand content for a variety of platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging channels.

  • Create and schedule posts using social media management tool Sprout Social, incorporating platform best practices and strategic hashtags to maximize engagement.

Engagement & Community Management

  • Monitor and engage with client communities across all platforms, responding to comments, questions, and messages in a timely, brand-appropriate manner.

  • Track trends and conversations within client industries to encourage relevant, real-time engagement.

Content Quality Control

  • Proofread and edit all outgoing social media content

  • Collaborate with graphic designers and copywriters to ensure cohesive visual and written messaging across all materials.

Performance Reporting & Optimization

  • Produce monthly performance reports, analyzing metrics such as engagement, reach, clicks, conversions, and ROI.

  • Make data-driven recommendations to optimize social strategy, creative direction, and posting schedules.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Work closely with the internal team (designers, copywriters, digital strategists, and account managers) to align campaign efforts and ensure seamless project execution.

  • Attend client meetings (virtual or in-person) when necessary to present updates, gather feedback, and build client relationships.

Innovation & Trend Monitoring

  • Stay ahead of social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates to keep strategies fresh and relevant.

  • Bring new content ideas and creative campaign concepts to the team to help differentiate our clients in crowded digital spaces.

Qualifications

  • Social media marketing or content creation experience

  • Video editing or short-form content creation.

  • Photography

  • Strong copywriting and proofreading skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (Meta Business Suite, Instagram Insights, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or other design tools is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.

Bonus Skills (Not Required, But Preferred):

  • Experience with email marketing tools.

  • Familiarity with tools like DashThis or Google Analytics for reporting.
